Bloated Tummy calmed

It's so heartwarming when just touching can make someone feel better - literally better physically.

A relative has many things going wrong for her, health-wise, one of them being a very bloated tummy. She was experiencing pain in different parts of her abdomen including the area of the hernia. She came for a Reflexology treatment more than a week ago. For the major part of last week I was bothered about her bloated condition – I can imagine the pain and discomfort that she must be going through. Every time I called to check, she would be enduring some pain.

I decided to visit her and perform a very gentle form of 'massage' for bloated tummies that I had learnt in Shiatsu Massage. In this particular procedure it's not really massage, instead a gentle pressure is applied on the abdomen in a specific sequence and direction – a gentle and slow process, but very effective.

Her tummy appeared much more bloated than before, in my opinion. I spent more than an hour giving her this gentle treatment. There must have been some energy blocks in her abdomen. The constant and gentle pressure somehow opened up the blocked passageways inside her. During the procedure itself, she could feel that things were moving in her large intestine.

The next day, I received a call from this relative, this time she sounds happy. She simply had to inform that she felt so much better after the treatment. In the morning, she was able to wake up with ease, she felt so much lighter than she had been for quite some time, with much of the pain gone! And she had more energy that she didn't need to rest in the afternoon like she normally would. Even her bowel movements were better than the usual.

I am grateful and touched that my efforts have made a difference. It's amazing that such a gentle procedure can make a great difference to a person's well-being. At the very least, the hernia condition would not be aggravated, while she waits for the surgery to take place.
